The Button “Digi Themes” provide the opportunity to view and change the digitization theme that is already established in the solution as well as create new ones.

Active If the subject is active.
Roles Restricts the roles theme is available for. Standard are general roles “authenticated” and “guest.”

In Adaptive 3 is also set symbolization of data in the same operation as the creation of the dataset.

Click the “Add” to add a new digitization theme. The following window will appear (see below). First tab, “DataSource”, describes one set of initial properties for the new digitization theme:

Name Description
Email Email address. Email to the owner of Digi Theme. Pr. Currently used it is not.
Table name Table name
Spatial data type If the subject should contain point, line or surface.
EPSG What coordinate system are digitized data to be saved in.
Min. Scale Minimum scale the user must be in, in order to be allowed to digitize. Can contribute to improved quality of the digitized data.

Next tab, “Columns Digit” provides the opportunity to build up a digitization form properties / columns you want users to fill out along with the digital signaling objects. To create a new field, press Digithemes7 . Then fill out the form highlighted in red. To delete a column press  Digithemes8 .

More columns are system columns, this is columns that are required and can not be deleted. These are automatically generated. By creating a single digitization theme they will not appear, it is only by editing one existing that these appear (see figure below shown in blue).

Boolean Fields that can be ticked for YES and not ticked for NO.
Decimal Decimals field

Text field for short text on a line
Serial Numerical Order. Often used as the primary key.
List Drop-down menu which allows you to select a value from the list. For this field it´s required that field “List values’, is filled with commas between each value.
Multiselect_list Drop-down menu that allows you to select one or more values from the list. For this field it requires that field “List values’, is filled with commas between each value.
Editable_list A default value for the current column.
Foreign_key For internal use.
Rich_text Allows to enter text using the word processor where you can set the font, font color and make lists.
text_area Allows you to write a longer text.
media Upload single media
url Open url with trigger button/link
dictionary Save key from Theme dictionary in digi theme.
separator Group fields in fieldsets
  • If you want to change an existing digitization theme do you do that by clicking the “Edit”. This opens the same form as to create a new theme. Note that some fields are locked, they can therefore only be filled when creating a new digitization theme, not changed (see tables above).

One initiator role allocation as for other elements of the Adaptive 3. When choosing the role, the following dialogue appears (see figure at left). It specifies the rights for selected rollepå chose digitization theme
