In this example, the theme is divided into four classes (Havflate/Sea level, Innsjø/Lake, Skog/Forest, and SnøIsbre/Glacier), each class with its own fill color (Fill color). Glacier also has a stippled outline (Outline Color, Width, Pattern).
To define which polygons should belong to the different classes, this example uses the column “objtype” (Classitem). In addition, each class is assigned an expression (Expression) and type of expression (Expression type). The example uses the expression type “String”.
The values are obtained from the attributes column “objtype” for this data set.
Below is a screenshot for each class (two for glacier to demonstrate that this class has two styles; snow and ice).
