First, a new Label is created, as shown in the first screen capture. This is based on a TrueType font from the Norwegian Mapping Authority – “sktf2”. It’s defined which glyph represents which symbol. In this case, “swimming spot” is represented by the dollar sign, $.
Then, symbolization with two styles is set up. The first creates a white square background (Symbol) by using fill color (Fill color) and setting the size of 20 (Symbol size).
Secondly, a fill color (Fill color) and a size 20 (Symbol size) is defined for the symbol “swimming spot” (Symbol).
New labels can be created in Administrator, Config > Labels
