The Button “Symbol” allows you to view, edit, delete and create new symbols in Adaptive. These are used in theme to set symbology.
Symbol must be established in accordance with the specification of Mapserver. See http://mapserver.org/mapfile/symbol.html for details on symbols.
Name | Description |
ID | Unique ID of the symbol. |
Name | Name of symbol. |
Description | Description of the symbol. |
You can also create new symbols by pressing the .
Name | Description |
Point text | Description of the symbol point. Note that if this is not completed, the symbol will not be available at one point theme. |
Line text | Line text description of the icon line. Note that if this is not completed, the symbol will not be available in one line theme. |
Polygon text | Description symbol polygon. Note that if this is not completed, the symbol will not be available on a polygon theme. |

Note! Before deleting existing symbols, be sure they are not in use in some themes!
